JEMUR expects submissions to follow core academic publishing standards appropriate to undergraduate scholarship.

• Original work that has not been published elsewhere
• Clear authorship attribution and mentor acknowledgement where relevant
• Accurate citation, source use, and avoidance of plagiarism
• Human-subjects or other ethics approvals where applicable
• Honest reporting of methods, limits, and use of tools such as AI
• Respectful peer review and editorial communication
